Crimson Tattoo
This screen-printed hand-bouned storybook was inspired by my experience of the first time I put on red nail polish when I was a kid.
The line art part of this book was drawn about 10 years ago, I didn’t know how I wanted to color the story, so it lived in my drawer till my screen printing class in 2019!
Screen printed cover and interior.
Hand-bound.
Cover: black velvet, red string, sealing wax.
Interior: Fabiano 50% cotton, Arches hot press, Rives paper.
